How will be our future? Mid-career and young generations think about the future of civil engineering

Civil engineers face societal changes, such as declining and aging population, climate change, and increasing severe disasters. Shortly, we, a smaller
number than previous generations, will tackle these changes. This feature explores the thoughts of young and mid-career professionals who will become leaders in the future of civil engineering, covering topics such as the significance of young professionals and necessary research. We hope that both veterans and younger generations reflect on their perspectives on the future of civil engineering.
