★International Roundtable Meeting
   “Changing Society and Future Infrastructure”

The COVID-19 pandemic has made significant impact on society around the world. That continues to affect all aspects of our lives: quality of life, lifestyle, work, school and communication. Meanwhile, the cession of travel, disruption to supply chains and changes in consumer behaviors are affecting the infrastructure section: drastic decline in public transport and road infrastructure usage, rapid development of internet communication infrastructure and digital services, for instance.

We are standing at the very point in reassessing and reevaluating the society and infrastructure that we have secured until today. We need to take innovative and proactive responses in order to overcome the current crisis, and to prepare for future challenges, drawing a new infrastructure landscape.

The RTM will invite experts in various disciplines in Asia and Pacific Regions. They will share the infrastructure landscapes that they are drawing and discuss how they will achieve them collaborating with whom and what sectors.
