International Summer Symosium
Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE) has been extending its activities into international arena to foster mutual
understanding and cooperation with international engineering students and
professionals. JSCE considers that peer exchange of information is essential
for young engineers to build and develop their interests and deepen the
knowledge in any disciplines of civil engineering. With this in mind, JSCE
initiated International Summer Symposium in 1999.
The objectives of that symposium is to provide a platform
for exchanging views and information on current technology, examining current
and future issues, promoting further research, and encouraging research groups
among Japanese young engineers and their international counterparts.
