The 11th International Summer Symposium


Scope

The International Summer Symposium provides a platform for international students and engineers to present, discuss and exchange their research interest in English. International students and engineers are strongly encouraged to participate in the Symposium. From last time, full papers will be reviewed. (Note: International students and engineers include Japanese, overseas students and engineers who are interested in international activities.)

    Note for Speakers

  • English should be used for presentation and in discussion.
  • Each speaker is allowed 12 minutes, which includes 8 minutes of oral presentation and 4 minutes of discussion, unless the chairperson gives instructions otherwise.
  • Each conference room is equipped with a LCD projector (connector: mini D-sub 15pin) and laptop PC (Windows + PowerPoint2003 or 2007, depending on the room).
  • Please copy your presentation file into the PC provided prior to your session. If you'd like to use your own PC, please make sure the connection with the projector by yourself during break.
